Out Patient Imaging Services at COVE
Outpatient imaging services provide a significant advantage for pet owners by offering a quick and convenient way to obtain detailed diagnostic information without the need for an overnight stay at the veterinary clinic. These advanced imaging technologies, including CT scans, abdominal ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and digital X-rays, allow us to diagnose and treat your pets efficiently and effectively.
With outpatient imaging, you can bring your pet in for a short visit, receive a comprehensive evaluation, and we'll share our reports and findings with your regular veterinarian, enabling them to diagnose and treat your pet more efficiently. This ensures your pet receives the appropriate care as quickly as possible.
Digital X-ray For Dogs & Cats
Digital X-rays are advanced X-rays that give us clear images of your pet's bones and internal organs. They are faster and more detailed than traditional X-rays, which means less stress for your pet. Digital X-rays help us quickly identify fractures, arthritis, and other conditions.
CT Scan (Computed Tomography) For Pets
A CT scan is a super-detailed X-ray that gives us a 3D image of your pet's body. It helps us see inside your pet with amazing clarity. This means we can spot issues like tumors, internal injuries, or infections more quickly and accurately.
Abdominal Ultrasound
An abdominal ultrasound uses sound waves to create images of your pet's internal organs, like the liver, kidneys, and intestines. This is a painless and non-invasive way to see what's going on inside your pet. It can help us detect problems like blockages, tumors, or organ abnormalities early. With early detection, we can improve your pet's chances of a full recovery.
Echocardiogram (Echo)
An echocardiogram is an ultrasound specifically for the heart. It allows us to see your pet's heart in action, checking for any issues with the heart's structure and function. This is crucial for diagnosing heart diseases early. Every echocardiogram is sent to a cardiologist for a detailed report.
